To make the future of daughters bright, to save them, it is issuing various schemes to provide them a good education. One such scheme has been started by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji whose name is Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. This scheme was started on 22 January 2015 from Panipat, Haryana; it is being run for the daughters.
Under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, the parents will have to open the daughter’s account. In this, whenever the applicant will open the account of his daughter, the applicant will have to deposit the prescribed amount in the account till the age of 14 years.
Apart from this, the applicant can also open the account from the birth of the daughter till the age of 10 years. By starting the Beti bachao beti padhao yojana, the golden future of the girl child will be secured. This scheme is very beneficial for the child and the parents. Under this scheme, the applicant can withdraw only 50% of the amount from the account after the daughter completes 18 years. And when the daughter’s age will be 21 years, then she can withdraw the entire amount deposited in the account for her marriage and education.
How to apply Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme?
Applicants can apply for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme through both offline and online means. If they apply through online then they have to go to the official website and if they apply through offline then they have to go to the concerned post office / National Bank and fill the form.
Objective of the scheme
The purpose of starting this scheme is to save the daughters in the country because many people consider daughters to be a feast and get them killed or in many places even get daughters married, due to which they have to live a worse life. And in many places, parents are so poor that they are unable to educate their daughters or collect money for their marriage, in view of this problem, the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme was started. Through which education can be provided to them and their future can be improved and feticides can be reduced in the country and both boys and girls can get equal status.
